Dear Chairman Bollwerk and Judges Kline and Lam:
In your recent order granting standing to the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation, you indicated your desire that the Tribe take the lead with respect to the financial responsibility contention. I have discussed this matter with counsel for the State of Utah and have reached a tentative agreement with the State, subject to your approval, that the State take the laboring oar on this contention, with in put and assistance from the Tribe.. This approach would be preferable to the Tribe given the relatively limited resources of the Tribe.
Please advise whether this is acceptable.
