and Confederated Tribes Contention F (Financial Assurance) and designated r
i the Confederated Tribes as the lead party for the consolidated contention.
l LBP-98-7 at 159. The State requests the Board designate the State as the lead party for this contention. The bulk of the consolidated Financial Assurance contention, as re-written by the Board, is derived from State Contention E. Id.,
Appendix A, at 1-2. In addition, the State has conferred with counsel for Castle 9805140218 980506 PDR ADDOP. 07200022 C

Rock and counsel for the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation' and they have no objection to the State being designated the lead party. In fact, it is their preference that the State be designated the lead.
