This report transmits the findings of the reactor operator (RO) and senior reactor operator l
(SRO) licensing examinations conducted by the NRC during the week of July 7 -11,1937, i
at the Millstone Unit 3 Nuclear Power Plant. Based on the results of the examinations, all 3
RO and SRO opplicants passed all portions of the examinations. At the conclusion of the ;
examination, Mr. L. Briggs alscussed the preliminary findings with Mr. B. Carns and Mr. J. -
i
.Thayer, as well as other members of your staff.
The examination addressed &reas important to public health and cafety and were developed
and administered under interim Revision 8 of the Examiner Standards (NUREG-1021).
Millstone Unit 3 (MS3) personnel develened all segments of the examination, WN 'le the
NRC provided oversight and final approval prior to its administration. MS3 training
personnel subsequently administered the NRC-approved written examination, while the
operating examination was administered by the NRC,
n in sccordance with 10 CFR 2.700 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter ^
ond its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
