RELEASE OF EVALUATION VERSION OF THE REACTOR VESSEL.

INTEGRITY DATABASE TO ATI CONSULTING

Dear Mr. Rosinski,

Per your request, ATI Consulting, a contractor of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI),

is authorized to receive a copy of the Reactor Vessel Integrity Database (RVID) Version 2.0.5 for evaluation purposes only according to the provisions in the EPRl/ Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) confidentiality agreement dated April 23,1998.

Specifically, the confidentiality agreement states that "[EPRl] agrees not to disclose the information to any person or organization unless the person or organization shall have previously entered into a written confidentiality and nonuse agreement having substantially the same terms and conditions as provided herein, and (EPRl] obtains prior, written approval from NRC.*

ATI has an agreement with EPRI similar to the EPRl/NRC agreement. Therefore, this letter grants the written approval required for release of the RVID to ATI consulting for evaluation purposes only. Doth EPRI and ATl Consulting understant that the data have not been updated, but the structure of the database has been transferred into the Microsoft" Windows format using Access software.
