The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff and the Advisory Committee on Medical Uses of isotopes on the rule on medical use of byproduct material. ihe Commission will provide guidance to the staff in the Staff Requirements Memorandum which results from the voting process on SECY-99-201, "Oraft Final Rule - 10 CFR Part 35, Medical Use of Byproduct Material."
