During our ongoing meetings with the NRC, we indicated that revisions were l
being made to the Restart Plan. Those revisions have been completed and 3
the updated Restart Plan, Revision 2, is attached for your information.

Generally the revisions include (1) title / position changes related to our recent re-organization, (2) more definition on implementation of an Action Plan (previously described as " closeout"), (3) Action Plan post-implementation evaluations and (4) programmatic reviews of key regulatory areas. As we discussed with you previously, the changes are consistent with the 3-phase approach which already was being utilized at LaSalle. Because the Appendix B Action Plans were provided to you by our Reference 1 submittal, and have not been modified, another copy of these plans is not included in the attachment.
We have reviewed each of these changes with the NRC Residents and will be available to review the changes with you during the May 1,-1998, public performance review meeting. We do anticipate that these Restait Plan 1
changes will not result in any modification to the NRC's MC-0350 Checklist If there are any questions or comments conceming this letter, please refer them to Harold D. Pontious, Jr., Regulatory Assurance Manager,
