Your Quality Assurance Program A)oroval No. 0260 is hereby terminated. The Nuclear Regulatory Conmission pu)lished a final rule. effective June 27, 1997.
revising the requirements of 10 CFR Part 34. " Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety Requirements for Irdustrial Radiographic Operations. " The revision, which contained numerous changes in the requirements, also modified the quality assurance (0A) requirements for transportation. As a result of these changes, a separate NRC OA program approval is no longer needed.
Specifically,(g)ansportation activities ara now contained in a new paragraph.
