N DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 CALLAWAY PLANT UNIT I UNION ELECTRIC CO.
FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-30 PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN. REVISION 27A On March 30,1998 the Union Electric Company fumished four copies of Revision 27 to the Callaway Plant Physical Security Plan. Included in this revision was a change to Table 5.1-2. This table lists the plant's vital areas, and indicates which areas may be declassified when conditions outlined on this table and in Section 5.1.2 of the Plan are met.
During our recent refuel outage, a re-review was conducted of the information included on the table during the Revision 27 process. At that time, we discovered that three areas (identified as areas 23,24 and 25 on the table) were marked as being able to be declassified during Technical Specification mode six even though the plant had no plans to ever declassify any of the three areas.
Therefore, Union Electric Company is submitting an amendment to Revision 27 that incorporates the above-described change. This amendment is identified as Revision 27A of the Callaway Plant Physical Security Plan. Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), four copies of Revision 27A are furnished. Changes incorporated into this amendment are consistent with 10 CFR 50.54(p) and do not decrease the effectiveness of the security program.
