This letter is in response to your request for the regulatory guide for use in submitting an application for your forearm bone densitometer with device listing number 892.1170.
Please find enclosed a copy of USNRC Reculatory Guide 10.10, as well as the booklet entitled Sraolemental Information to Reauest a Safety Evaluation and "acistration of Sealed Sources or Devices containino Bvoroduct Material.
They should help you with the application.
In your letter, you stated that the users of the device will purchase sources from Nordion.
Please include the Source model number and if possible, its NRC Source Registration Number in your application.
