The Memorandum and Order (Rulings on Standing, Contentions, Rule Waiver Petition, and Procedural / Administrative Matters) issued by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board
(" Board") on April 22,1998, requests each party to advise the Board by April 29,1998 as to whether they intend to appear in person in Rockville for the May 19,1998 prehearing conference or by teleconference from Salt Lake City. Counsel for Applicant will appear in person at Rockville for the prehearing conference. Applicant understands, however, that at least counsel for Castle Rock will be appearing by teleconference from Salt Lake City. Applicant also believes that providing for attendance by teleconference from Salt Lake City has the additional l
benefit of allowing members of the public to observe the prehearing conference on this matter.
