Modification No. 5 Contract NRC-02-97-004 Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to adjust the ceiling amount to reflect the work to be required in phase 2 if this effort, to change the indirect rate for materials and handing and to change the project officer. Accordingly, the following changes are made:

1. Section B.3, " Consideration and Obligation-Cost Plus Fixed Fee", paragrapt.s (a), and (d) are revised to read as follows:

"(a)

The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of this contract is

$149,470, of which the sum of $136,172 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, of which the sum of $4,037 represents facilities capital cost of money, and of which

$9,261 represents the fixed fee.

(d)

It is estimated that the amount currently a!!otted will cover performance through May 31, 1998"

2. Section F.5, paragraph (a)is changed to show the project officer's name as *Penelope Kinney" in lieu of " Daniel T. Huang".

3. Section G.1, paragraph (a) is changed to show the project officer's name as "Penelope Kinney" in lieu of " Daniel T. Huang".

4. Section G.3, " Indirect Cost Rates (JAN 1993)", paragraph (a) is changed to revise the indirect rate for materials and handling as follows:

9/27/97-9/26/98" All other terms and conditions of this contract remain the same.
