Dear Mr. Nichols:
During the week of February 23,1998, operator licensing tests were administered at the Hope Creek facility'to five reactor operator candidates and to six senior resctor operator
! candidates. The written examination was administered on March 2, '.998, to these
~ 1ndividuals.as well as a senior reactor operator who previously failed the written examination.

.The individual results have not been forwarded to these applicants. Please advise these individuals that the NRC will continue evaluating their applications beyond the normal 30 day pe'riod.
