I This letter confirms the dates of November 17-19, 1997, for the U. S. Nuclear l
Regulatory Commission staff to conduct an inspection of the Westlectric Castings, Incorporated (Westlectric) facility in City of Commerce, California.
These dates were established in a telephone conversation on October 17, 1997, l
between Mr. Andy Arechiga of your staff and Mr. Joseph Petrosino of this office.
The inspection will relate to the implementation of your quality assurance program that you have established to control Westlectric's product quality, design, procurement, and manufacturing activities associated with nuclear power plant safety-related and associated ::ystems, and your 10 CFR Part 21 program controls.
We look forward to your cooperation concerning this matter.
