-REVIEW OF TECHINACAL EVALVATION REPORT FOR PROPRIETARY INFORMATION
Dear Mr. P.ickard:
The NRC staff and Scientech Inc. have completed its Technical Evaluation Report of the Calculative Methods for the ABB-CE Small Break LOCA Evaluation Model.
Enclosed is the technical report dated July 1997.
The staff requests ABB CE evaluate and annotate the report for pro)rietary information by August 12, 1997.
Pro)rietary information will be withield from public disclosure in accordance wit 1 the criteria listed in 10 CFR 2.790, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests--for withholding."
If ABB CE finds my portion of the report contains proprietary information, please contact Mr. Stewart L.
Magruder at (301) 415-3139 or Frank Orr at (301) 415-1815 to discuss the matter.
Your response to this letter and its enclosures are not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, Public Law No.96-511.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Y A Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) on August 13, 1997.
