Dear Mr. Sinclair. .
i We have reviewed the final Utah regulations in R313-36, Special Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations, that were sent February 9,1998, by Gwyn Galloway, Health Physicist, Utah Division of Radiation Control, to Charles Hackney, Regional State Liaison Officer, Region IV. The regulatio 1s were reviewed by comparison to the equivalent regulations in 10 CFR Part 34.
As a result of J.he NRC review, we have determined that these final Utah re0ulations, as adopted, meet the compatibility and health and safety categories established in OSP Internal Procedure B.7.
