States with students attending this course have each agreed to pay travel expenses and where designated the tuition. To cover the tuition expense, each State should submit a purchase order, payable to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, to the Cnief Financial Officer, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Attention: Diane Dandois, Mail Stop

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE: This is to advise yo.u that those individuals in Enclosure 1 have been accepted for participation in the training course (H-308), " Transportation of Radioactive Materials." This course is scheduled to be presented April 27 - May 1,1998 at the State Building,500 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

COURSE: The course will be conducted beginning at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. each day except for Friday which will end at 4:00 p.m.

LODGING AND TRAVEL: Attached is a list of hotels in the vicinity of the State Office Building.

It is suggested that you stay at the Ramada Plaza Suites and Conference Center, One Bigelow Square, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (412) 281-5800. You should plan to arrive on Sunday, April 26,1998 and depart on Friday, May 1,1998. Participants must make their own lodging arrangements. Individuals should request a State or government employee rate at the hotels.
