This letter is in response to your informing me of the September 23,1999, letter _from

Mr. Wayne Simoneau to the Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission, and the proposed n j Minutes from the Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission meeting of September 23,1999.

Our evaluation concluded that the Rhode Island Atc mic Energy Commission acceptably addressed the safety concems expressed in the letter on personnel qualification requirements in the Technical Specifications. In accordance with our regulatory program, implementation of these and all other NRC requirements will continue to be subject to routine inspection.
