l COMMENT RESOLUTION In their vote sheets, Chairman Jackson and Commissioners Dieus, Diaz, and McGaffigan approved the staff's recommendation.
Chairman Jackson and Commissioners Dias and McGaffigan provided some additional comments.
Chairman Jackson's comment consisted of an-editorisi change-to the letter to the President that was handled administratively and was therefore not included-in the formal SRM, Commissioner McGaffigan's comments cited specific developments in Brazil that the staff had utilized to justify its finding that the Agreement was in conformance with Section 123 of the Atomic Energy Act.
Subsequently, the t9mments of. the Commission, either directly or by reference to the staff's finding, were incorporated into the guidance to staff as
- reflected in the SRM issued on September 18, 1997, or in the text
- of the letter to the President advising him of the Commission's decision.
