Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSOU8753), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of natural uranium, in the form of uranium hexafluoride, to the U.K for enrichment and return to the United States for use as fuel in commercial power reactors. Assurances from EURATOM are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreunent for cooperation.
Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
Please note that a portion of the material is of Canadian origin.
