Adoption of 10 CFR.50, Appendix J, option B On April 1,
1997, Public Service Electric Gas CompanyL (PSE&G). submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission - (NRC) a request-for TS revisions of various sub-sections of Section 4.6
-(Containment - Systems), _- of Section 6.0 _(Administrative Controls),_
and of-License Condition 2.D.
The. purpose __of LCR H97-08 is to modify the'TSs to adopt Option B of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J (Primary Reactor Containment Leakage Testing).
Option B uses performance-bacad requirements and-criteria _for pre-operational and subsequent periodic containment _ leakage rate testing, and if the change

- request is'aporoved by the NRC,_it will' replace the prescriptive
