FORTHCOMING MEETING TO SOLICIT PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE MAINE YANKEE ATOMIC POWER STATION POST-SHUTDOWN DECOMMISSIONING ACTIVITIES REPORT (PSDAR)
Dear Mr. Sellman:
By letter dated August 27,1997, you submitted the post shutdown decommissioning activities report (PSDAR) to the NRC in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.82(a)(4)(i). As required by 10 CFR 50.82(a)(4)(ii) a meeting has been scheduled to receive public comment on the PSDAR. The meeting will be held on November 6,1997, l
from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Wiscasset Senior High School in Wiscacset, Maine.
You will be invited to make a presentation at that meeting to discuss your plans for decommissioning the Maine Yankee facility. Further details of the meeting are provided in the enclosed riotice. A copy of this notice has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
