(CRCPD) COMMISSION BRIEFING - OCTOBER 20,1999,9:30 A.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST) (SP-99-069) in an effort to accommodate State interest in listening to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
. (NRC) briefing, the NRC Office of State Programs has made the following arrangements in coordination with the Offices of the Secretary and Chief Information Officer.
Please notify Rosetta Virgilio, NRC Office of State Programs, of your State's interest in participating in the subject teleconference by providing her with a designated State contact name and their direct telephone number by no later than COB October 16,1999. Ms.Virgilio i
can be reached at (301) 415-2307, via e-mail at rov @nrc. gov or by fax at (301) 415-3502.
Approximately one hour before the October 20,1999,9:30 a.m. Commisalon Briefing, a FTS 2000 Conference Attendant will telephone the designated State contact to link him/her to
' the Commission briefing teleconference. ' It is imperative that the designated State contact be committed and available to receive the incoming call at their designated number during this appointed time frame; otherwise, the State may be omitted from the teleconference linkup altogether.
It is suggested that if more than one State member is interested in listening to the Commission briefing, that the State make arrangements to use a single speaker telephone to accommodate such interest. All cal!ers are asked to engage the speaker telephone mute function to help eliminate background noise, if you experience any difficulties in getting tied into the teleconference, please call
