STATEMENT OF WORK SAFEGUARDS SUPPORT FOR RUSSIA, UKRAINE AND KAZAKHSTAN -
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE
1.0 Background
The International Safeguards Section of the Regulatory and International Safeguards Branch, FCSS, requires administrative assistance to support efforts in development of safeguards programs for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
These efforts involve assistance with the development of training programs, workshops, meetings, supporting documentation, and applicable materials, e.g., viewgraphs, notebooks, handouts, reference documents, and other needed materials in the three areas cf regulatory development, licensing and inspection.
Subtask B.2 states that the contractor shall xerox and assemble materials needed in preparation for training programs, workshops, and meetings for Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakhstani regulators, and provide administrative support during these activities both in the United States and abroad.
2.0 Work Required In accordance with the requirements under Task C.2, the contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials for the following workshops:
-- Security Licensing Workshop in Obninsk, Russia -
April 1998
-- OSRE Methodology Workshop in St. Petersburg, Russia -
July 1998
-- MCEA Inspection Workshop in Novosibirsk, Russia, in July 1998
-- DBT/ Systems Analysis Workshop in Kiev - April 1998
-- Vulnerabillity/ Testing Workshop in Kazakhstan - August l
1998 Specific target dates for future workshops listed in. Task C.2 are subject to the availability of and confirmation by Ukrainian, Russian and'Kazakstani regulators.
All activities are expected to be completed by September 30, 1998.
