Dear Mr. Miller:

The NRC is reissuing the subject certificate amendment, which was issued on Ar.ril 20, 1998, for' the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant, to correct the amendment number reflected on the certificate. As such, the amendment number is being changed from "9" to "10." This amendment becomes effective on April 27,1998.

Enclosed is a copy of the revised Certificate of Compliance.
