This letter requests the Nuclear Safety Department to submit for approval to the Vice President of Nuclear Operations the Annual Exposure Report for 1997. The Annual Exposure Report will be transmitted to the NRC on magnetic media in accordance with 10 CFR 20.2206, Reports ofIndividual Monitoring. Attachment I describes the file structure of the transmitted data and Attachment 2 is a printout of the file.

Information of Magnetically Transmitted Radiation Exposure Data The disk submitted in duplicate labeled Duquesne Light Company Beaver Valley Power Station Annual Exposure Report 1997, contains the required radiation exposure data for individuals monitored during the year 1997. The data format is that described in Appendix A of Regulatory Guide 8.7, Instructions for Recording and Reporting Occupational Radiation Exposure Data.
