Dear Ms. Dedik:

Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM03030), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium, in the form of fuel assemblies containing uranium dioxide pellets ranging from natural uranium up to a maximum of 4.9 percent enrichment, to Germany as reload fuelin the Kernkraftwerk Philippsburg reactor.

Assurances from Euratom are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.

Please note that a portion of the materialis of Australian and Cariadian origin.
