In summary, seven cases were completed, five new license applications or..nendment requests were received, and 21 cases were pending as of September 30.

We understand that most of the pending cases listed in the report are awaiting receipt by the Executive Branch of foreign government assurances as required by the Atomic Energy Act. of 1954, as amended by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978.
