Dear Ms. Dedik:

Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSOU8756), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of natural uranium, as uranium hexafluoride (UF6), for use as axial blanket pellets in the fabrication of reload fuel assemblies for Kori Units 3 and 4 and Yong Kwang Units 1 and 2. Assurances from South Korea are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
