Dear Colonel Daxon:

This is in reference to your Statement of Intent as financial assurance for decommissioning dated March 1,1993. In a letter dated March 30,1998 requesting that Nuclear Regulatory Commission License No. SNM-860 be amended, you state financial assurance for decommissioning for that license to be $750,000. However, the Statement of intent dated March 1,1993 states that the financial assurance for decommissioning for the license is much less. That Statement of Intent is based on a cost estimate dated January 22,1993. You should submit a revised Statement of Intent and cost estimate to this office updating your financial assurance for decommissioning with proper signatures.
