Juno 28, 1991 through August 16, 1991 BACKGROUND The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's operational Safety Team Inspection (OSTIs) are required to ensuro that a licenuco is operating a nuclear power plant safely and in conformance with regulatory requirements.
Accordingly the OSTI veriflou the following:
1.
That tiio plant-is being operated safely and in conformance with regulatory requirements and 2.
That the organizations that control and support plar.t operations are functioning effectively to ensure operational safety.
These entities include operations, maintenance, surveillance, management oversight, technical support, safety review, quality assurance, health physics training and corrective action.
OBJECTIVM The objective or this statement of work (SOW) falls within Section C.1.3 of the basic contract's SOW.
The contractor shall provide one specialist (one management oversight inspector) to assist the NRC in conducting the subject insp40 tion.
The contractor shall provide the qualified specialist, and the necessary. facilities, materials, and services to assist the NRC staff prepare for, conduct, and document the subject inspection as specified below:

The format and scopo of those reports shall be as provided by the NRC Team londor as speciflod in Section F.3.1(b) of the basic contract.
At the completion of Task 4, the contractor shall doliver the specialist's final inspection report input (feedor report) as speciflod in Sections F.3.1(c) and F.3.1(d) of the basic contract.
The specialist's foodor report will serve as documentation of the specialist's inspection activitics, offorts, and findings, and will be used by the NRC Team Londor for the preparation of HRC's inspection report.
As a minimum, the specialist's report input shall include the following:
Identity of the individuals (name, company, and title) that provided information to the specialist during the inspection.
For each area inspected, a description of the activities and general findings and conclusions reached regarding the adequacy of the area.
For eac. area with a concern or findings, a discussion of the concern or findings with technical bases.
The contractor will provido a final report upon completion of Task 4, to the NRC Team Loader and Project. Manager.
A draft report will bo provided to the NRC Team Loador on or hofore August 8, 1991.
