Thomas V. Wambach, Project Manager Standardization Project Directorate Division of Advanced Reactors and Special Projects Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation
SUBJECT:
CE SYSTEM 80+ DESIGN OVERVIEW PURPOSE:
A presentation of a broad scope overview of CE System 80+ design has been scheduled for all NRC reviewers, their supervisors, and any interested contractors (if your contracts support the expense of their travel). This is intended to be an overall plant f amiliarization, highlighting the evolutionary features (i.e., beyond CE System 80). A listing of some of those features is enclosed. This is not intended to be a discussion of details a
in any specific area of each reviewer's responsibility.
In-depth issues should be the subject of separate meetings or telephone calls of a much narrower scope.
However, all reviewers are encouraged to attend to obtain knowledge of a broad overview of the plant design and new features.
