The purpose of this modification is to:
1.
exercise the first option year of the subject contract in accordance with Subsection 1.6, FAR Clause 52-217 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract.
As a result, the ceiling amount of this contract is increased by $201,340.00 from
$623,974.00 to $825,31400.
2.
extend the contract period of performance through August 27,1999.
Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
(1)
Under Subsection B.4-CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--DELIVERY ORDERS Paragraph a is deleted in its entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following:
" CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION - DELIVERY ORDERS (JUN 1988)
(a)
The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is
$825,314.00. The Contracting Officer may unilaterally increase this amount as necessary for orders to be placed with the contractor during the contract period provided such orders are within any maximum ordering limitation prescribed under this contract."
(2)
Subsection F.5 - DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD is deleted in its entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following:
" DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD (MAR 1987)
ALTERNATE 4 (JUN 1988)
The ordering period for this contract shall commence on August 28,1996,
. and will expire on August 27,1999. Any orders issued during this period shall be completed within the time specified in the order, unless otherwise specified herein. (See 52.216 Ordering.) The term of this contract may be extended at the option of the Government for an additional two years."
