FIRE BARRIER PENETRATION SEALS AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS On September 10, 1997, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met with David Lochbaum of the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) and Paul Gunter of the Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS) to discuss fire barrier penetration seals at nuclear power plants.
