Dear Mr. Romberg:
This is to confirm my understanding that a meeting to discuss the root cause and corrective actions regarding a safety related breaker that failed to open on demand on August 5,1997, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26,1997, at the Region Ill office in Lisle, Illinols. During the meeting you will discuss the August 5,1997 event, involving a Residual Heat Removal breaker's failure to open, your findings, conclusions and proposed corrective actions. I understand that you will also provide an overvlaw of your current corrective action and preventive maintenance programs associated with maintaining these and other safety related equipment at the Clinton Power Station.
