REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (RAI) REGARDING APPLICATION FOR.
TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF OPERATING'LICEhSES, BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 (BVPS-1 AND BVPS-2) (TAC NOS. M99386 AND M99387)
Dear Mr. Cross:
By letter dated August 1,1997, you informed the NRC of a proposed merger of Allegheny Power Systems, Inc., and DQE, Inc., the parent holding company of Duquesne Light Company (DLC). Your August 1,1997, letter also requested consent of the NRC to the indirect transfer of DLC's interests in BVPS-1 and BVPS-2 that wil.1 occur under the proposed merger. The NRC staff has begun its review of your request.for the NRC's consent to this indirect transfer; however, we have determined that the following additional information is required for us to complete our review.
DLC is requested to submit licensee organizational charts depicting corporate structure-before and after the proposed merger. Please submit these charts within 45 days of receipt of this letter to permit us to complete our review in a timely manner.
