Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 Withdrawal of Technical Specification Change Requests NPF-38-168, NPF-38-169 and NPF-38-170 Gentlemen:
1 On July 26,1995, Waterford 3 submitted Technical Specification Change Requests (TSCRs) NPF-38-168, NPF-38-169, and NPF-38-170. These TSCRs requested i
extended allowed outage times for selected action statements associated with the Low Pressure Safety injection System, Emergency Diesel Generators, and Safety Injection Tanks. These changes were based on a collaborative effort of participating Combustion Engineering Owners Group (CEOG) members. Since the submittal of these TSCRs, the CEOG has revised the supporting Joint Application Reports based on further discussions with the NRC Staff. The revised CEOG Joint Application Reports have been recently resubmitted to the Staff. Consequently, Waterford 3 must revise the original TSCRs. Since the revisions will change the associated No Significant Hazards Evaluations, Waterford 3 requests to withdraw the original TSCRs. Waterford 3 plans to submit revised TSCRs based on the latest Joint Application Reports.
