NR-399-D+801-E. Because models 110/56A and SF68 were not currently contained in a egistration certificate, are similar in design as those on this certificate, and were requested to -

1 in your letter dated November 14,1997, you requested to keep model 85 on your exempt distribution license. This model is not currently listed on any active registration certificate. To date, several requests for detailed information on this model have been made. In your responses, you stated that you provided all the information available. The information that was provided is not sufficient for a safety review to be completed. Therefore, to allow you more time to gather more detailed information, during your next exempt distribution license renewal additional information on model 85 will be requested to be provided. To aid in the preparation of the necessary information, a copy of NUREG 1556, Volume 3, " Consolidated Guidance About Materials Licensees - Applications for Sealed Source and Device Evaluation and Registration," is enclosed.
