Dear Mr. Pelchat:
As a follow-up to your inspection on April 23-25,1999 and to the correspondence that you received from E. W. Montier, CIH, CSP (HOVENSA L.L.C.) dated 5/27/99, please find attached a copy of the receiving report from AEA Technology for the disposal of the two Tech OPS 660 radioactive cameras. The cameras were registered to llESS OIL VIRGIN ISLANDS CORPORATION (HOVIC) now called HOVENSA L.L.C.
The report indicates that the cameras received by AEA Technology were empty and did not possess any radioactive sources as indicated in earlier correspondence. HOVIC records indicate that the sources were retumed to Amersham inc. in Burlington, MA on September 16,1991.
