the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory C=!*, asking the NR.C to thoroughly test the Connecdeut Yankee sits to detenmine the extent of conta the plant. The Governor has also asked the NRC to ensure every preca is taken during the plant's deoonuntasioning to protect the health and safety i

ordred to continue its testing of the area surrounding the plant and to seek l

expert assistance if necessary to conduct the most accurate testing for radioactive contamination available, Governor Rowland is urging the DPUC to require the operators of Ce=ncut Yankee to pay tbr any advanced testing necessary to detennine j
