Implementation of Regulatory Guide 1.97 for Vermonc Yankee Nuclear Power Station This letter confirms-the dates of Meren 11-15, 1991 for the Regulatory Guide 1.97 inspection at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Our plans for this inspection were discussed wit.h your staff during a telephone call between Mr. L. Tremblay, Jr. of Yankee Atomic Electric Company and Mr. Leonard Cheung of the NRC Region I office. The inspection will take place at your engineering office in Bolton, Massachusetts, and at the Vermont Yankee plant site.
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.ra. on March 11, 1991.
The management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for March 15, 1991 at 10:00 a.m.
For this inspection, we will require the following documents for all Category 1, type A, B, C, and E variables.

Calibration Records for the past two refueling outages 2.
Loop Diagrarrs and Schematics 3.
P& ids identifying these instrt'mer.ts 4.
Power Source Diagrams identifying that these instruments are powered by Class IE Power Supplies 5.
List of Isolation Devices used for separating Cattgory 1 and non-Category 1 Instruments and the documents to supp6rt their qualifications 6.
EQ Master List The above information is to be made availeble at the inspection site on March 11, 1991.
