SUMMARY

The plant entered the month operating at 100% power and remt.ined at that power lesel for the entire month. The plant maintrjned full power operation as the end of the operating cyc'e approached by reducing average temperature and withdrawing the axial power shaping control rc(ns. The plant is scheduled to shut down on September 5,1997 for refueling.
