The Commission in this paper is being asked to act on an order responding to the United States Enrichment Corporation's Petition for Review of the Director's Decision Denying in Part USEC's Certificate Amendment Request Regarding the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant Seismic Upgrades. Each of you has voted to approve a.

Memorandum and Order denying the Petition and requiring USEC to perform the modifications required by the compliance plan without further delay. Commissioner Diaz also voted to approve the Memorandum and Order and would have affirmed his J

vote if he were present today. I ask you to affirm your votes.
