SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-298/98-14
Dear Mr. Hom:
From April 6-9,1998, a liquid and gaseous radioactive effluent waste management inspection
was conducted at your Cooper Nuclear Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the
scope and results of that inspection.
The inspection determined that the liquid and gaseous radioactive effluent waste management
program was effectively implemented,
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its

enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
