. The purpose of this modification is to: (1) correct mathematical errors in the ceiling and l
obligated amounts of Modification No. 5, (2) exercise Option Year 1 in accordance with l
Section 1. 3, " Option to Extend the Term of the Contract", (3) increase the contract ceiling and i
obligated amounts as a result of the exercise of the option, and (4) extend the period of performance. 7 The work to be performed during the Option Year 1 is described in Section C.1 l
of the contract.' Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
1, The amount of "$1,836,692.28" in paragraph 2.(a) of modification no. 5 is deleted and l,
the amount of "$1,832,692.28" is inserted. In addition, the amount of "$1,836,692.28" in l
2.(e) and the cumulative obligations in the summary of obligations is also deleted and the amount of "$1,832,692.28" is inserted.

In accordance with Section B.3, Option Year 1, Section B.3, Consideration and l
Obligation, paragraphs (a), (e), and (f) are deleted in their entirety and the following paragrapns are substituted in lieu thereof:
"(a)
The total estimated cost to the Govemment for full performance of the base year and Option Year _1 is $2,588,345.69, of which the sum of $2,406,445.59.
represents the estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of $174,400.88 represents the fixed fee, and the amount of $7,499.22 represents the facilities capital cost of money.

The amount currently obligated with respect to this contract is $2,375,847.28.
(f)
It is estimated that the amount currently allotted will cover performance through December 30,1998."

Section F.6, Duration of Contract Period, is revised as follows:
"This contract shall commence on 4/24/97 and will expire on 4/23/99. However, the work described in Modification No. 5, Task Area 2, will expire on 9/30/98. The term of l
this contract may be extended at the option of the Govemment for an additional 3 one-l year options. Should the NRC exercise any option years, the optional years will be j
exercised and commence in April."
All other terms and conditions of the subject contract remain unchanged.
