Generic Letter 92-08 GNRO-98/00042 Gentlemen:
By letter dated February 26,1997, the Staff forwarded a Request for Additional Information (RAl) to Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) conceming the ampacity derating of electrical cables enclosed in Thermo-Lag clad raceway. This information was requested to facilitate the Staff's review of GGNS' resolution of Generic Letter 92-08. This RAI requested clarification of information contained in Engineering Reports GGNS-96-0006 Revision 0 and GGNS-96-0032 Revision 0 that were submitted by letter
.iated June 28,1996 and supplemented with information provided in our letter dated December 20,1996.
The requested clarifications were submitted by letter dated June 5,1997. In our June 5,1997 response, we also committed, at the Staff's request, to revise the above engineering reports to reflect a level of detail consistent with the clarifications contained in our December 20,1996 submittal with regards to ampacity derating for cables encased in U
