Dear Sirs:
As documented by CBS Corporation's letter to the USNRC on September 15,1999, CBS is requesting a technical specification amendment to clarify the limiting conditions for maintaining confinement during restricted activities. The proposed amendment along with a "No Significant Hazard Consideration" was provided in the referenced letter.
As discussed in several telephone conversations with Mr. Ted Michaels, in order to provide additional clarifications and to accommodate minor editorial changes, Exhibit A provides the proposed replacement pages to the TR-2 Technical Specifications. These pages are being submitted to augment the previous submittal and replace similar pages previously transmitted in the above referenced letter. The editorial changes and clarifications are being made at the USNRC's request.
