Dear Mr. Ramsey:
This acknowledges receipt of your Report of Proposed Activities in l
Non-Agreement States (NRC Form 241) dated January 12. 1998. and receipt of the initial recognition fee as required by 10 CFR 150.20(b) and 10 CFR 170.31 (Category 16 - Reciprocity).
Your company was provided with copies of the pertinent regulations. and specific guidance where available. in a package dated December 10. 1997.
Your Georgia License No. 1299-1 is recognized as valid for use in Non-Agreement States and areas of Exclusive Federal Legislative Jurisdiction for ANY 180 DAYS IN CALENDAR YEAR 1998 ONLY.
We have assigned a Location i
Reference Number (LRN. NRC Form 241. Item 16) to the temporary job sites you have reported.
Additional LRNs will oe assigned to locations on the attached i
l list upon first report of work at the location.
Activities which have not j
been previously assigned an LRN are considered revisions, should be reported on the enclosed NRC Form 241 and marked as a Revision (Item 2).
Revisions should be faxed to NRC Region II three days in advance of the proposed j
activity, along with a copy of the fee for a Revision.
There is no limit to j

the number of activities reported at one time, and one fee is charged without
)
l regard to the number of activities on Revision.
Revisions will be reviewed cnd acknowledged including assignment of an LAN for the job location.
Clarifications change already reported information or cancel activities: they require no fee.
When submitting Clarifications. please indicate the already-assigned LRN for the site.
Whenever a document is submitted by fax, follow up l
by mailing the original and three copies.
l You are responsible for compliarce with the applicable NRC regulations while l
conducting work within areas of NRC iurisdiction.
Some NRC regulations may differ from those of your Agreement State.
Your staff who are occupationally exposed to radiation are required to have available to them copies of your 4
license and procedures and the applicable regulations on the way to or from licensed activities.
We shall notify the appropriate NRC offices, non-Agreement States and areas of exclusive federal legislative jurisdiction of your proposed activities.
