RIVER BEND STATION, UNIT 1 - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION; LPRM CAllBRATION (TAC NO. M98883)
Dear Mr. McGahat-1 By letter dated August 29, 1997 Entergy Operations, Inc. (E01) requested an amendment to facil ty Operating License No. NPF-47 to increase the time between whole core local power range monitor (LPRM) calibrations.
In the course of our review, we have determined that additional information is needed.
Please provide the response to the following questions within 30 days so that we can continue with our, review.
On page 6 of the above referenced letter, E01 stated that "LPRM calibration current and 3D MINICORE calculated LPRM chamber exposure date were obtained from several plants...".
Please provide comparisons similar to Table 1 (page 7 of the referenced letter) for several plants including most importantly River Bend Station, Unit 1.
On page 8 of the referenced letter, l
Entergy stated that "this change has been implemented at several other BWRs,",
Please identify the BWRs to which this statement refers.
