REVISION NO.19 TO CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 6003, M-130 SHIPPING CONTAINER (TAC NO. L22554)
Dear Mr. Engel:
In accordance with your application dated December 19,1997, and pursuant to Part 71 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Certificate of Compliance No. 6003 for the M-130 shipping container is revised to change the assigned criticality Transport index (TI).
Accordingly, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 6003, Revision No.19, which supersedes, in its entirety, Revision No.18 dated September 18,1997.
Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the margin. The assigned criticality Tl for the shipment of D1G-2 spent fuel in the M-130 shipping container is changed to zero. Accordingly, Condition 5(c) is revised and the application date of December 19,1997, is incorporated into the Reference Section.
The U.S. Department of Energy, Division of Naval Reactors,is registered as a user of this package under the general license provisions of 49 CFR 173.471.
This approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and '
for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471.
