The enclosed NRC Forra 173, Standard Order for DOE Work (SOEW) which provides funding in the amoult of $50,000, is submitted in accordance with Section 111.B.2 of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding of February 24,1970.

The NRC Forrn 173 covers work to be performed under Task Order 6 " Review, Revision and Development of Office of State Programs Procedures." The NRC accepts your proposal submitted by letter dated September 9,1997. Any funds remaining from the Task Order 6 proposal development funding are to be applied to the work under the September 9,1997, Task Order 6 proposal. Additional partial funding in the amount of $50,000 is provided. Please sign and return the NRC Form 173.
